Duty to provide information on the Battery Act (BattG).
Disposal of electronic equipment and used batteries
As our products may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with household waste, but you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if they are not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled. After use, you can return batteries or devices with permanently installed batteries free of charge either to BH SENS or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. at retail outlets or municipal collection centres). For end users, the return to points of sale is limited to the usual quantities and to used batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its range.

Disposal of batteries
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must never be disposed of with household waste either. As a consumer, you are required by law to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries to retailers or appropriate collection points for environmentally-sound disposal in accordance with national or local regulations. Returns are free of charge.
Under this symbol you will also find the following symbols with the following meanings, depending on the type of battery:
